The game yesterday ended 6-3 in favour of Litto. It was a close fight for both teams and Agape led in both first and second periods. The third period did not turn out to be too well, allowing Litto to score goals then.
Speaking of his team’s performance, Marcus feels that the team has played hard and it was a momentarily lapse of concentration that caused his team the result that they were hoping for.
‘I’m proud of the girls and their performance during this game. Many fought hard, run hard and give their efforts and energy during this game. It was disheartening not to get the results we wanted, but I’m confident that moving ahead, we will become stronger.’
‘Both goalies played well. Since this game was the first for Clarissa, I would say that she came on ready. For Cherie, she stepped up really well.’
